Located on the corner of 4
th and Randolph St.We are a Baptist church that believes in ministering to our community of Melba. We have been here since 1919 with the idea that we welcome any person of any church background who desires to be a part of our life and witness to our community.
We also believe in the transforming power of the Holy Spirit of God to bring about spiritual growth in the life of any believer in Jesus as Savior and Lord, who desires to be transformed.
On the road to transformation, we offer Sunday School classes for all age groups from toddlers to senior citizens. Sunday School begins at 9:45 am every Sunday. Our Morning Worship begins at 10:50 am on Sunday mornings, with nursery care provided up to age 4 (four).
During the school year we have the following programs that minister to our community:
•A FREE YOUTH BREAKFAST on Thursday mornings for 7th - 12th grade students. It begins at 7:30 am and goes to 8 am with a devotional thought and prayer time and is open to any youth. We also endeavor to have one or two 5th Quarter events during the school year for all 7th - 12th grade students after games.
•Wednesday night Youth Group for 7th-12th grade students meets at 7 pm.

•ADVENTURE BIBLE CLUB (ABC CLUB) is every Tuesday after school until 5 pm during certain times of the year (check the Church Schedule). This program is for all children age Kindergarten through 6th grade. We feature Bible stories, games, scripture memorization, life application of scripture and snacks. Every Christmas the children put on a wonderful Christmas musical to a packed audience. ABC CLUB puts on an annual ALL YOU CAN EAT SPAGHETTI FEED, in the fall.
•BIBLE STUDY for adults is on Wednesday nights at 7 pm. We come to learn more about being transformed into the likeness of Jesus.
•Hot Dog Days of August
. Come out and enjoy a picnic & games each Sunday at 6 pm during the month of August at the Melba City Park.
•MEN’S BREAKFAST & BIBLE STUDY is held during the months of November - May. We meet on the First & Third Saturday of the month at 7 am. Every man in the community is welcome to attend. This non-stressful meeting of men is a place to discuss your concerns and obtain ideas for helping you in your everyday life. What is discussed here stays here.
•The LADIES’ ABW MINISTRIES meeting is the First Wednesday of each month during the school year at 9:30 am in the church basement. This monthly gathering of the women is a great time of sharing. All women in the community are welcome to come and partake with others in Christian fellowship.
